What we encountered on Arrival?

Deceit, Duped, Cheated

On arrival in Canada and as time went on we found that: -

1. There were four main immigration categories and that there were two types of   skilled immigrants. One was those who were skilled through trade and experience and fall within any of the four main categories, however the professional skilled category was unique and falls under one main category titled as: “Skilled” and based on the candidate’s on-going profession, years of experience and education from the country the candidate resides. The applicant must meet the terms and conditions listed above  and come under the professional skilled category. To do this the candidate must prove his or her skills, experience, and knowledge and then in addition, produce official documentation, professional certificates and acceptance documents from Canadian Professional Bodies to qualify.

2. We discovered that over time, the skilled and the professionally skilled categories due to confusion and lack of understanding had been combined as one. Today in Canada, professional skill has no meaning in a practical sense and the lack of respect for such highly qualified, respectable specialized foreign professionals has become a joke that the invisible hand of greed and exploitation has taken over.  The professional skilled category has now become one of Canada’s largest “Cash Cow” businesses. Various statistics show that skilled immigrants as part of Canada’s mass immigration policy are part of a huge business that involves immigration lawyers and quasi-government bodies.

3. Innocent immigrants such as ourselves had been brought into this country under false pretences to be exploited regardless of our skills to do menial jobs, jobs that a Canadian born individual will not want to do, and to further provide the Canadian economy with cheap labour.
